The summer months are near & we're ready to bring positive energy into this season. When I think of summer I think of being active, having a care-free attitude, sunshine & hot temperatures.

what is eucalyptus oil benefits? aromanthi aromatherapy wellness1. Eucalyptus:

The eucalyptus plant is a very versatile plant. It offers great benefits for both the mind and body. It cools our muscles relieving aches and pains, and is soothing for after sun care when you've spent the day at the beach. It's also quite helpful for mental exhaustion.

I recommend applying a drop or two of eucalyptus oil to a cold, wet towel and wrap around the neck, wrist and ankles. Also beneficial is to apply aloe vera to calm down inflamed skin in case you have a sunburn. Please do not ingest this oil.

Ylang Ylang is naturally a tropical plant. Best described as warm, exotic and sensual. It regulates oily and stressed skin which can commonly occur during the summer season. Emotionally, Ylang Ylang paves the way for relaxation by relieving negative emotions like fear & anger. Add 1-2 drops with your carrier oil, or in your products.

What is rosemary essential oil? Aromanthi aromatherapy wellness3. Rosemary:

Rosemary is a native plant to the Mediterranean region, so it always comes to mind when I'm thinking about visiting family in Greece during the summer. It's fresh, strong and vibrant. Rosemary is known to stimulate the flow of energy in the body, improve memory, muscular aches, cramps and skin congestion. I would not ingest rosemary oil, but I do recommend adding a fresh rosemary spring while you brew your morning coffee. It adds a unique, flavor to a stimulating beverage.

What is grapefruit essential oil benefit? Aromanthi Aromatherapy4. Grapefruit:

Grapefruit is the ultimate fresh and sweet citrus. It purifies the air, improves performance stress, eliminates fatigue and is quite energizing. I enjoy diffusing this in my home, or I'll add to water and spray on my clothing. It's important to note that if this ingredient is applied to the skin, you should avoid direct sunlight as it can cause reaction and discoloration.

5. Jasmine:

The Jasmine flower has a delicate aroma that symbolizes purity and grace. Naturally, this oil is very expensive due to how many flowers are needed to extract the essential oil. However you can enjoy it as an absolute (diluted essential oil in alcohol for topical or diffusing purposes), dried flowers for drinking tea, or enjoying in your bath. Also called the Queen of the Night it is known for its relaxing effects on the mind. Jasmine is considered generally safe for all.
